Every year, Chick-fil-A celebrates Cow Appreciation Day in their restaurants nationwide. It’s a day dedicated to their beloved Eat Mor Chikin Cows and if Chick-fil-A fans come into their stores dressed like them on that day, they get a free chicken sandwich.
It’s always been a successful IRL brand moment, but also always limited to in-store experiences. Chick-fil-A came to us to authentically extend the activation to their social channels and get more brand love beyond the single day.
Well, what better way to appreciate cows than to actually go and appreciate some cows? In the week leading up to Cow Appreciation Day, we asked fans to thank the cows within the comment sections on Chick-fil-A’s social channels. Then on the big day, we read the comments from the fans to real cows.
RESULTS
Videos received 3.8 Million views. Engagement grew over 108% from the year prior.
