With over 27 million members, Shell has one of the largest loyalty programs on the planet. The only problem is a large percentage of their members stop using their account after the first 30 days. They needed to boost awareness to their program and its benefits in a way that would stand out among all of the typical loyalty program ads.
Introducing the Shell loyalty lab
Being loyal to customers means so much to Shell, we thought it would only be fitting to create a multi-platform narrative campaign around their secret lab, filled with loyalty researchers (we call them loyalists), who study the world’s most loyal subjects in the pursuit of becoming the most loyal loyalty program ever.
