While Global ECD at Yahoo!, I led an effort to refresh the overall look and feel in outward advertising, visual communication, and design.
The Yahoo! Story
This was a fun piece. The project was to create a video to communicate the Yahoo! mission with a focus on brand nostalgia. Our goal was to avoid the trap of typical brand sizzle videos and tell the story in a visually striking way to help demonstrate the design relevancy Yahoo! was continually executing within its beautiful products.
MAKE IT YOURS
Yahoo! Mail was used by millions and was a huge focus for the company. Below is a social campaign that visually highlighted its new key features as the product has evolved from desktop to the all-new app experience.
DIGITAL REBRAND
When it was time to do a visual audit of Yahoo! digital advertising across properties, we looked to inject a new level of personality and ownability without compromising effectiveness and performance. Our solution was to put together a range of design approaches within a spectrum of personality to function, all within the same brand family.

IN REAL LIFE
This was a project from a couple of years prior (older logo even) but this well-loved public brand activation paved the way for the bolder colorways and progressive visual design styling now used for the Yahoo! brand.
